Q: Can you describe your role at SmartEquip? A: As a Senior Project Manager, I’m often tasked with some more complex projects. I work with our Fleets, Suppliers, and e-Commerce customers daily – this means I’m always learning something new about how their business operates. It may be implementing custom APIs for suppliers, modifying existing functionality with our rental fleets, or starting from scratch building an e-Commerce storefront.
Q: How long have you been at SmartEquip? Describe your SmartEquip journey? A: I just had my 3-year anniversary at the beginning of June. I started at our old office when we still wore masks from the pandemic and most were still WFH, so getting to know everyone was a bit slow. Since having moved to the new office – it’s nice to see everyone regularly. Every day at SmartEquip is different and I wouldn’t trade that day-to-day experience for anything. It keeps me on my toes!
Q: What is your best workplace memory? A: Participating in my first ARA Show in Orlando in 2023 – getting to meet all our clients in person and being able to hear the impact of why we do what we do as an organization is invigorating.
Q: What is the most rewarding project you’ve worked on at SmartEquip? A: Our e-Commerce solution implementations are always different due to dealer's and supplier’s unique business requirements – so I’d have to say any e-Commerce solution, once we’re able to go live there’s a great sense of accomplishment for stakeholders.
